Oliwia Meiser, a Polish cellist based in Berlin, is currently studying with Prof. Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt at the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar. She graduated from the University of Arts Berlin in 2022 and is a member of the Pirastro Young Artist Family. Oliwia founded Ensemble Musica Libera and is part of the Scandinavian Cello School. She was a member of the LGT Young Soloists from 2017 to 2021 and has won prizes at the TONALi 2018 Cello Competition and the Mendelssohn German University Competition 2021. Oliwia also holds scholarships from institutions like Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now e.V Berlin, PE-Förderungen e.V, Musethica e.V, and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom and others.
